Mini Bhatia
Aum Yash Kendra's Director and Founding Member, Mini Bhatia started Speech and Drama Classes under the able guidance of Hima Devi. Mini started the class with her two sons, saw the amazing advantages of this life skill and decided to continue the journey with Aum Yash Kendra.
Mini along with Tasneem Fatehi worked tirelessly since 1997 to establish Aum Yash Kendra as a premiere institute for Speech and Drama with all rounded development with Phonetics and other movement activities. Along with this, Mini is also is a director at the Drama School Mumbai.
She gives her personal touch to every parent and child that walks in through our doors making them want to come back for more!

Insiyah Rokadia
Insiyah has been working with Aum Yash Kendra since 2007. She graduated with a Bachelors in Literature from KC College, Mumbai. She has extensive experience in working with kids of all age groups. She has trained under Tasneem Fatehi. Insiyah has a gift in dealing with kids and is excellent in bringing out the best in them. |
Khadija
Khadija has studied BSC in human development from Nirmalaniketan. She has given her Trinity grades under Himadevi. Thereafter, she completed her ATCL, a diploma in Speech and Drama from Aum Yash Kendra. She independently ran a center for Speech and Drama for 5 years in Bangalore before she joined Aum Yash Kendra again. Along with training our students for various grades in speech and drama and communication skills, Khadija also teaches basic Ariel silk skills. |
Deepali Munim
Having left behind a 15 year career in textiles to be a stay at home Mom, Deepali finally found her calling at Aum Yash Kendra; where she returned to her first love – The English Language. Through “The English Explorer” classes she takes our students on a journey of discovering the language in a creative and fun manner through a unique scrap booking activity. Deepali conducts Communication Skills & Creative Writing for children coming from various schools all over Mumbai.

Kriti Tiwary
Drama Facilitator Actor
Kriti is a drama facilitator and an actor. She is trained in Acting from Shri Ram Centre for Performing Arts and has worked with some well-known theatre artists like Ashish Vidyarthi, Suneel Sinha, and Ashwath Bhatt. Kriti has taught drama in the classroom for almost a decade and has worked with Theatre Professionals Education since 2012 as a drama facilitator for students from Pre-K to Grade 8.Kriti has coached children for the Trinity College Speech and Drama Certification. She has also been involved in various street plays on social awareness by WWF and programs for educational institutions. Kriti uses her experience as an actor, performer and voice-over artist to bring the joy of drama to children and teachers.She believes in using a combination of art, movement, drama and play to spark curiosity and watch the creativity flow. Kriti believes that a more inclusive approach to pedagogy is one where, as a facilitator, you engage with learners and become an integral part of their explorations

Kumkum Gadodia
Kumkum graduated from Sydhnem College. She has been teaching Math at Aum Yash Kendra since 2010. Kumkum specialises and trains children for competitive exams in Math (IPM) from standard 1 to 8.

Tasneem Fatehi - Co-Founder Aum Yash Kendra
St. Xaviers College, ATCL (Associate of the Trinity College of London)
Tasneem is a graduate in English Literature from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She has over 20 years experience teaching children at the Trinity College, London Programme for Speech & Drama and Performance, and as a director of children’s plays. She has also conducted several Drama based workshops for children and teachers, directed Annual Days at schools, and worked with regional language schools using Drama to teach spoken English.
Tasneem started her work in theatre, working with several theatre companies as a Production Manager. At Theatre Professionals she initially started administering the professional Acting Workshop Programme, and later was responsible for overseeing the entire Drama in Schools Programme. She currently heads the Theatre Professionals Education vertical.
When she’s not busy seeing that every school’s academic and teaching needs are being met, Tasneem finds time to step into the classroom and stay connected with what she loves best: Teaching Drama.

Veronica Gautam
Veronica has studied Journalism & Photography, has a Masters in Linguistics and is a trained Kathak dancer. She has had extensive experience with teaching kids in Ladakh. Veronica has a flair for languages and is fluent with English, Hindi, Gujarati, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish. Her love for kids, languages and drama brought her to Aum Yash Kendra. Veronica trains the Senior Grade Children for Speech and Drama and also conducts special classes for SSC students.

Amrapali Vyas is an Educator and a facilitator based in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. She runs an institute called VILD’s for the past 8 years which is dedicated to teaching spoken English, creative writing, grammar, speech and drama to children, professionals and homemakers. She is also a Trinity Certificate exam trainer. She also coaches pre-school teachers in the nuances of fluency and phonics.
Though equipped with postgraduate degree in Business Information Technology, her research interest has always been inclined towards using a syllabus that uses creative thinking, practical activities and theatre in the field of education.
She curates workshops to enhance an understanding of communication skills, popular psychology and life skills. . She also serves as a visiting faculty for several educational institutions and runs language related workshops for schools.
She strongly believes that every educational institution whether real or virtual must impart wisdom, life skills and a strong value system , along with knowledge. And that no matter what the academic inclination of the student , it is the moral obligation of any educator to equip them with a healthy and happy mind.

She has directed five full length plays. ‘The Two character play' written by Tennessee Williams at the Zest, NCPA, Mumbai, Dekho Magar Pyaar Se’ a devised solo with Vikrant Dhote at Gender Bender 2015, ‘Ambu and Rajalakshmi’ written by Ramu Ramanathan at Centrestage Festival, NCPA 2015 and ‘Dohri Zindagi’ based on a short story by Vijaydan Detha at Gender Bender 2016 and Centrestage Festival, NCPA 2016. Since then Dohri Zindagi has travelled to 18 national festivals across the country. Her most recent work called The Hunger Artist which opened in November 2018 was listed among the top three plays of the year by Mumbai Theatre Guide. She has designed the lights of several plays such as Whirlpool, Lucrece , Chuhal and many others. She also works in the field of drama in education with children and teachers.
